About our club

Founded in 1934, Abbeydale Squash and Fitness Club has established itself as one of the most prestigious squash clubs in the country.

Abbeydale Squash and Fitness club is a member’s only, not for profit organisation with the sole focus of offering the best for our members. The club boasts 6 squash courts, including 5 glass back courts and an all glass court with theatre style seating; one of only three nationwide. The well-equipped air conditioned gym is spacious and bright, and is one of the best value for money fitness centres in Sheffield.

Membership also includes the use of the Abbeydale Sports Club Pavilion where you can fine dine, order bar food and drink whilst watching county standard sports. The club is located in Dore in South Sheffield, situated on the edge of the Peak District National Park. We are housed on the Abbeydale Sports Club Site which hosts numerous sports including: cricket, rugby, hockey, table tennis, lacrosse, badminton and crown green bowling.
