2020 Allam British Open Tickets on Sale Now

Story by PSA World Tour

The world’s best players will head to the University of Hull Sports and Fitness Centre between May 25-31, 2020 to compete for the iconic Allam British Open title - and squash fans can now get their tickets to watch all the action unfold.

The British Open is one of the most prestigious squash tournaments in the world, second only to the PSA World Championship, and the world’s top stars will compete at the stunning all-glass court set up at the University of Hull Sports Complex, which will host the tournament for a second successive year.

The famous trophy was won by Mohamed ElShorbagy and Nouran Gohar in 2019, with the former becoming the first Egyptian since the 1960s to win a trio of British Opens, while the latter avenged her defeat in the final of the 2016 edition.

Both ElShorbagy and Gohar will face stern tests as they aim to defend their crowns though, with the likes of World No.1 Ali Farag, World Champion Tarek Momen and Kiwi star Paul Coll in action during the men’s tournament. World No.1 Raneem El Welily, four-time World Champion Nour El Sherbini and England No.1 Sarah-Jane Perry will all be involved in the battle for the women’s title.

"Over the years, the British Open has staged some of the most dramatic and exciting matches the sport has ever seen, and this year’s tournament looks set to continue that theme," said Tournament Director Tim Garner.

"The sheer strength in depth across both the men’s and women’s fields mean that this season’s edition promises to be the most closely-contested yet as players bid to add their names to the historic trophies.

"We’re looking forward to continuing our work with Dr Assem Allam, England Squash and the University of Hull in the coming months as we look to build on a hugely successful 2019 British Open."

Tickets start from £10 and are available from Ticketmaster.
