Things to consider: You can also use Instagram Stories to give quick updates or show your followers how club night is going. Why not give players the chance to takeover with 'behind the scenes' photos and videos? Additionally, video performs really well on Instagram and is more likely to get you on to people's feeds. Film a rally or even a trickshot to show everybody how much fun squash is!
TikTok
Great for reaching younger audiences with quick, funny, and relatable videos.

Things to consider: TikTok is all about trends. Jump on one early and you could go viral!
Social Media top tips
- Choose the right channel for you goals and the resources you have available. You don’t have to be on every social network. It can do more harm than good if you spread yourself too thin!
- Consider a team of people who can post on social media
- Tag relevant people and local businesses into your posts to grow your reach
- Post a range of content, from competition to junior sessions, fun beginner sessions to social events and don't forget to use range of photos of different types of players at your club. You can use stock images and videos from England Squash to help
- Encourage players from your sessions to post photos / videos from the session on their own channels and tag you in
- Share and celebrate success stories and exciting news from across the club such as new coaches, player of the month, volunteer shout outs
- Join in with social media campaign and use their hashtags to get seen
- Increase reach through targeted ads such as Facebook Boosted Posts
- Use other Facebook groups you’re in to promote the club and its activities such as local community pages
- Keep your social media up to date and fresh so people viewing it have the most relevant information
