Popular pre-school squash programme inspires next generation

A Kent squash club has developed a pioneering pre-school programme, just ten years after facing a potential closure.

Biddenden Squash Club's Racket Tots programme has forged a strong reputation as one of the leading pre-school programmes within the squash community, thanks to its roaring success across the county.

Led by head Coach Tom Swain, Racket Tots allows 2-4 year-olds and their parents to get on court together and enjoy an introduction to squash, whilst also boosting each child's agility, balance and coordination.

Since establishing Racket Tots, the programme has gone from strength to strength and has been a key factor behind the club's turnaround from potentially having to shut its doors to being named England Squash's 2022 Club of the Year.

We caught up with Tom to learn more about Racket Tots and its amazing benefits.
