Young people

Engaging more young people in squash is a key area for many clubs. In this section you can find resources and guidance on young people's attitudes and behaviours to help you shape programmes at your venue.

Under the Skin

Under the Skin is research conducted by Sport England into the different attitudes and motivations amongst young people (ages 14-25) towards sport and physical activity.

The research found the common reasons why young people take part were to stay fit, to have fun, and to stay healthy but there were other reasons amongst different groups of young people. The research gives tips on how to engage young people in your activities and how to keep them coming back.
