England Squash prioritising inclusion with Leading for Renewal programme

England Squash is one of 36 organisations taking part in the Leading for Renewal programme in a bid to embed inclusion and diversity at every level of the organisation and the sport.

The year-long inclusion and diversity training initiative, delivered by Inclusive Employers, has been designed for Sport England partners to help them meet the aspirations of Sport England’s 10-year strategy, Uniting the Movement, which aims to transform lives and communities through sport and physical activity.

The training will help England Squash meet one of its key strategic priorities, enhancing diversity, as part of its new strategy, Squash in a Changing World.

Leading for Renewal has been designed to help organisations embed inclusion and diversity into their core functions and corporate priorities, and on a wider scale by helping to shape their diversity and inclusion action plans.

Mark Williams CEO at England Squash said:

“We are committed to improving diversity and inclusion within our organisation and across the squash community and are fully embracing the Leading for Renewal programme.

“By supporting and training staff at every level and in every area of the organisation, the programme will enable us to better understand how we can be more inclusive and how we can help others to do the same.

“We want to ensure that squash is accessible for everyone, and that the squash community is truly representative of our country. This programme will help support our vision to create a thriving and diverse squash community.”
