Major events

We run four major events throughout the junior season, attracting the very best players from around the country. These structured tournaments cater for boys and girls at Under 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19 age groups. Results from these events count towards your England Squash ranking.

British Junior Open

The British Junior Open is the most prestigious event on the world junior calendar. Held in Sheffield every January this is a Platinum event, attracting 420 of the world's top players from over 40 countries.

Who it's for: the very best juniors from around the world.

British Junior Championships

The British Junior Championships are held annually in Manchester every October. This is a Gold event attracting 300 of the country's best players.

Who it's for: the very best juniors in the UK and Ireland.

2015 English Junior Championships winners

English Junior Championships

The English Junior Championships are traditionally held in Birmingham every March. This is a Gold event attracting 260 of the best players in England.

Junior Inter County Championships

The Junior Inter County Championships provide players with competitive opportunities beyond club level in a team environment and counties with a focus for their development programmes.

Who it's for: the very best juniors in each county.
