Day one by Mike Edwards

With over 120 matches at Edgbaston Priory today, and a similar amount at Birmingham University, both clubs have been very busy!

A few closely fought matches throughout the day, upsets in the first round and withdrawals have produced some excitingly unexpected open draws.

Special shout outs to Jack Mahon and Carlton Oldham who both won titanic matches 12/10 in the fifth in the Under 13 and Under 19 boys respectively.

Tomorrow sees all the plate matches battle out at the university, whilst the top 16 play off for final positions at Edgbaston Priory.
